What is the best time to visit Agadir?

For beach holidays, June to October, when the sea is warmest (20–22°C) and it almost never rains. For sightseeing and day trips, March to May and October to November, with afternoons of 23–26°C. Surfers come from October to April for the biggest swells.

Does it get very hot in Agadir in summer?

Not usually. The Atlantic and the afternoon sea breeze keep summer afternoons around 26–28°C, far cooler than Marrakech. A few times a year the hot Chergui wind from the desert can push temperatures above 38°C for a day or two.

How cold is Agadir in winter?

Days are mild and sunny, around 20–21°C from December to February. Nights are cool, around 8–9°C, so bring a warm layer for the evening.

When does it rain in Agadir?

Rain falls mainly from November to March, on about four days a month, often in short bursts. From May to September it almost never rains.
